Karlene Brown
Karlene Brown is a Communications Specialist and Vice Consul/Liaison Officer for Jamaica’s Overseas Employment Programme in Washington, D.C. She oversees the welfare of 800 Jamaican seasonal workers across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia, advocating on their behalf and liaising with employers, government agencies, and law enforcement. With expertise in public relations, media management, and crisis management, she ensures worker protection, compliance, and successful cross-cultural integration.

Nora Smikle-Dryden
Nora Smikle-Dryden is a dedicated professional with over two decades in government service. A valued member of the Jamaica Central Labour Organization for nearly three years, she takes immense pride in supporting Jamaican workers in Western New York and Maine. Passionate about worker welfare, she ensures they receive the necessary guidance, protection, and resources to have a successful employment experience abroad.

Kareeme Morrison
Kareeme Morrison has served as a Liaison Officer since June 2022, supporting Jamaican workers in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Vermont, and Wisconsin within the H-2A and H-2B sectors. Prior to this role, he worked at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security in Jamaica for five years as the Coordinator for the “Steps to Work” Programme under PATH. His experience in workforce development and advocacy allows him to provide comprehensive support to workers while maintaining strong employer relationships.

Norris Colley
Norris Colley joined the Jamaica Central Labour Organization in June 2007 after over 20 years at the Ministry of Labour & Social Security in the National Insurance Division. Responsible for the New York region, he plays a key role in ensuring the well-being of Jamaican workers through consistent engagement and advocacy. A dedicated professional and father of two, he is also a lifelong Manchester United supporter, bringing both passion and commitment to his work.

Sheldon Brown
With over 24 years of experience as a Liaison Officer, Sheldon Brown has represented thousands of Jamaican H-2 workers across 25 states. Currently overseeing workers in Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada, Tennessee, Utah, and Washington, he is known for his deep understanding of the agriculture and hospitality sectors. His commitment to worker welfare and programme sustainability ensures that Jamaican employees receive the support they need to thrive abroad.

Kandre Leveridge
Kandre Leveridge was appointed Liaison Officer on 28 July 2023 with responsibility for Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. A graduate of the University of the West Indies with a BSc in Economics, he brings over 20 years of experience in fostering collaboration across government agencies, NGOs, and business sectors. With expertise in conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement, crisis management, and community development, he is committed to ensuring Jamaican workers receive comprehensive support and advocacy throughout their employment journey.
